csw 1:
DiagnOSIS AND TREATMENT PLAN IN ORTHODONTICS

Author and editor: Dr. Pablo Echarri

Dr. Pablo Echarri

As the diagnosis and treatment plan are the most important parts of any medical and especially orthodontic therapy, we publish this second edition due to the great success of the previous edition.

In fact, my first diagnostic book was published in 1998, the second in 2002, and then this edition was published in Spanish and English, which has now been revised and amplified.

This book is part of the CSW collection of books we are writing, in which not only all the team members have participated but also numerous doctors of international prestige, making the content of the edited books profound and extensive. So far, the first eight books have been published in Spanish, and we are working on the last four volumes to complete the collection.

The CSW collection consists of 12 volumes:

  1. Diagnosis and treatment plan in orthodontics.
  2. Diagnosis and advanced treatment plan in orthodontics.
  3. Principles of the CSW technique. Brackets and direct and indirect bonding.
  4. Extraction treatment in orthodontics.
  5. Non-extraction treatment. Volume I: Diastemas and agenesis, retained teeth with self-ligating brackets and mandibular advancement.
  6. Non-extraction treatment. Volume II: Expansion. Separation, Protrusion.
  7. Non-extraction treatment. Volume III: Distalization. Stripping.
  8. Treatment of malocclusions in the vertical plane: open and deep bites and rotations of the occlusal plane.
  9. Case finishing. Retention. Selective stripping.
  10. Interdisciplinary treatment with orthognathic surgery.
  11. Interdisciplinary treatment.
  12. Class I, II, and III treatment protocols with the CSW technique.

This book can be used both as a textbook to learn diagnostic techniques, reading it in order of chapters or as a reference book in daily practice since the numerous diagrams and easy access to information allow this use of the book.

I hope this book continues to be very useful in the diagnosis and that volume 2 of this collection is used as a complement to carry out treatment plans successfully.
